What is your preferred reading environment?

I find that I can read just about anywhere, which brings me comfort. There's no better way to escape the grips of reality than to pick up a good book.

Armchair+good lighting+silence

Nothing else even comes close. Reading outside is uncomfortable for some reason.

i read almost exclusively in restaurants.

I mostly read laying down in bed.

I pace the room. Sitting is degenerate.

Sitting on my bed/chair.
I put these little sponges in my ears for absolute quite.(earplugs in english I think.I never really thought about it)

I have a wood and leather British-style campaign chair that I set out under a tree just outside my front door. There's a nice rock I can set my feet up on, and it's usually nice and sunny too.
