Do you have a specific setup or place you go?
I'm really anal about it and have a hard time reading for long periods if the setup is not just right.
Lately I've been driving down to the waterfront park and parking at a secluded space with a good vantage, rolling down all the windows and curling up in the back with several pillows. It's fucking magic on a beautiful day. Settles both my guilt from not leaving my room/feeling isolated and dislike of cafes or lack of comfortable positions. plus I can bring any supplies I might need and easily move if something annoying is going on. Today I was there for 10 hours.
I find that I can read just about anywhere, which brings me comfort. There's no better way to escape the grips of reality than to pick up a good book.

Nigger, stop it with the trip. This isn't fucking Reddit, so quit. No one cares who you are. Congrats, you're actually now worse than gaskun.

One reason I'm getting an estate car. Pic related.
Armchair+good lighting+silence
Nothing else even comes close. Reading outside is uncomfortable for some reason.
i read almost exclusively in restaurants.
I mostly read laying down in bed.

I generally read wherever I want, but I prefer to read when I'm lying on my bed or a comfy couch.
I pace the room. Sitting is degenerate.

Why?

No friends but I fear being alone.
Also I'm a manchild that can't cook.

Why not?
Sitting on my bed/chair.
I put these little sponges in my ears for absolute quite.(earplugs in english I think.I never really thought about it)

I have a wood and leather British-style campaign chair that I set out under a tree just outside my front door. There's a nice rock I can set my feet up on, and it's usually nice and sunny too.
