Alright /lit/izens, picked up these two bad boys yesterday.
Which one should I read first?
And furthermore, are they even worth the read? I've heard its mostly boring but I just can't see how Julius Caesar writing accounts of his war stories wouldn't be good.

Really disliking this new /lit/ meme of not knowing how to rotate pictures.
They're mostly used as a tool for teaching latin, but if Roman History really interests you, go for it. I'd read Comentarii de Bello Gallico first, and just read it chronologically. Get ready for really, really dry history

Being books on wars, they deal with.... resources, such as the food soldiers consumed, weapons, supply lines, as much as it deals with tactics. So, um, yeah. Corn.

I like these B&N essential reading editions. They have nice covers, good notes, intros, and a nice matte finish.
