>>8646132
I don't even post in these threads but are you retarded? The stacks gives others ideas of what to possibly read next, shows similar interests, etc.

Zahn is my guilty pleasure desu. Anyone have any more EU recs for me after thrawn trilogy?
>>8646161
2bh Hard Contact is pretty good. Thrown trilogy has no soul, and feels empty.
Quite small this time.
Top is Selected Poems and Novellas of Frigyes Karinthy
Bottom is my e-reader,on it I have been reading Dream-quest of unknown Kaddath andThe Konosuba light novels
Been thinking about starting the Odyssey, since I got a copy with a verse translation.
>>8646655
I think Dream Quest is probably my favorite out of all Lovecraft's writings, and I absolutely love me some Lovecraft.
>>8646967
I'm reading Kaddath for school.
I like Lovecraft's stuff, both translated and in english.

You know, a stack thread.

Isn't Laird Barron the guy that wears a fake eye patch?
>>8647336
I dunno if it's fake or not, there doesn't seem to be much info out there either way, aside from personal claims.
Regardless of whether or not both eyes are intact, he's easily my favorite modern horror writer.
>>8647384
>he's easily my favorite modern horror writer.
Not exactly large shoes to fill.

Currently on my desk
I went to a book sale today. None of these were more than 2 dollars. These were chosen by me, my wife, my two sons and my mother in law. Bought a couple cardboard books for my 10 month old but they didn't get into the picture.
>>8647624
Did you steal all of those?
>>8647528
Why do I hate The Bell Jar so much? Nice Dost and Kurt though.

Are you planning on reading The Hobbitt then the Silmarillion without reading Lotr in between?
>>8648157
That better be the 1818 version of Frankenstien.
>>8648029
left cases have non fic history, the right ones have fiction. Fiction is sorted by genre (ish), nonfic by period or geography usually. There are plenty of errant books but I have way too many for my shelves anyway with fic being double stacked.
>>8648029
Theme
Then when it's organized by theme,I organize it by author and size insidr the theme.
