The flow. It may just be me, but once I finished it as a kid, I wanted so badly for it to become a T.V. show. It just seems so natural, and unlike most classic literature, it uses familiar language. Most of all, is message of the dangers of obsession. It spoke to me personally in that manor, and I'm sure it speaks to others with that problem as well.
