The guy lived away from social contact in a cabin, he got most of his opinions from media rags. You read that now and go "Ah, tumblrcore leftists!" But it was written in the mid 90s and describing quite different people. The only thing that hasn't changed is the lazy way we happen to describe shit.

He doesn't say anything particularly new, and his "solution" to technology was adolescent and despairing... He was an autistic though, and they always become obsessed with their own ideas.
