not really, english vocabulary is much larger, but russian language has a wider usage of suffixes and stuff
>>

"Sanskritam" is a bit of a barbarous way to express it in Latin though, and "ego" for emphasis doesn't make much sense in the context of his sentence.

Why 'barbarous'? The letter 'k' is fine. How else would one express it? 'Sanscrita'?

thanks dude. Teach Yourself Modern Persian is a very good textbook, I know the professor who wrote it and it gives one an excellent introduction into the language. The alphabet is much easier than it seems and the grammar is very simple, as simple as most romance languages. I find Farsi easier than French or German. It opens the reader up to so many incredible writers - not only the great poetic canon of the Middle/Early Modern Persian writers (Rumi [known as Balqi in Iran], Hafez, Sa'adi, Ferdowsi, Khayyam, etc.) but the wonderful modernist novelists and poets, like Forough Farrokzad, Ahmad Shamlu, Mahmoud Dowlatabadi and others. Use something like Quizlet or Memrise for vocabulary. enjoy anon

> In Latin it's better to write the noun first and then the adjective.
No, it isn't. Governing words precede the governed: adjectives precede their nouns and the possessed precedes the possessor in genitive constructions.

'Meus' is a possessive adjective, and it qualifies the word 'god', so it precedes.

Uneducated dumb-asses. The NA is the preferable construction in Latin. That doesn't mean it's incorrect to use the AN construction, though.

For example 'puella pulchra' sounds better than 'pulchra puella'. It just does.

Step out of your English comfort zone and learn something.
