No. Piketty's entire thesis falls apart when you actually look at his data. He apparently either misunderstood how the american tax code works or purposely obfuscated how it works to make his point. Also the pure partisan hackery and imbecilic "the economy does better when democrats are president" shit got old real fast. It got a lot of attention from the MSM and not a lot of attention from working economists (save for Krugman and his ilk) for a reason.
