>>8623978
no and you suck big time for thinking that, try to think differently and then maybe you won't suck
>>8623983
it's a shit play
>>8623736
There's no way that was what you expected. If it is then you need to lay off the genre fiction.
>>8624008
I'm glad that I'm not as stupid as you.

Go to bed Schwab.

Kubrick really watered everything down

>>8624298

>>8623782
lmao
>>8623811
On chapter 3 and this is me right now
>>8624421
I think he did the best he could. Nabokov's strength is his beautiful prose, and it was never going to be easy to translate that to film.
>>8624334
>unironically expecting it to be anything other than proto-bukowskian drivel
Obligatory
>>8625133
it's not though, is it? it just permanently derails the whole thread into an oh-so ironic but-therr-didnt-have-maize! thread

Majoras Mask. I'm not sure how you could ever play the game and forget what game it is, but alright
>>8625202
had a kek
Got what I expected
>>8624421
Kubrick makes the source material into something different every time. Sometimes it gets better, though with Lolita it could only get worse.
>>8623811
Accurate
Anyone got the less Than Zero one?
>>8625395
Is this the most /pol/ based sci-fi out there?
>>8623811
Very accurate. Still one of my favorites, though
>>8625505
Not really
There is nothing /pol/ about it besides the "space germuns" and that "genetic purge" law being mentioned
>>8623727
This just made me cringe
>>8625601
There were a lot of countries that took part in the novel.
I can´t see why Israel is special
>>8625629
are you dumb?
>>8623564
i bet the fbi is watching me now after reading this
>>8625656
Why do you ask?
>>8624038
That Kafka picture is how I feel him looking over my shoulder on everything but his letter to his dad
>>8625623
Good Goy, there is nothing special at all about Israel.
>>8625710
Picked up.
>>8623736
Kek, should've put a shoe in there though
Too much text, I know. But whatever. Don't make my mistake and read this trash.
>>8623674
Hahaha
>>8623727
delete this
It was all right, despite what the image might suggest
>>8625505
/pol/ based? No. Politics? Yes.
>>8626166
why the hell you expected faust?
>>8626258
I expected something great, of more value, of a large scale, but I put my expectations way too high. Should've read up better on the author
>>8623782

>>8623811
Fucking kek. This is true.
>>8626374
I think NotW is the shit, as a disclaimer. But Schwab is completely mediocre. Maybe interesting ideas, horrible execution, painful prose.
not my oc but i agree with it
>>8626246
how the hell did you expect suicide?
>>8625629
this one is too good!
>>8623660

>>8628835
You.. Didn't expect anti-semitic shit in Hitlers own private library?
I think you're underrating Hitlers cartoonish villainy
>>8626471
I hate you because this is accurate
>>8623660
Good one
>>8625629
kek
>>8626745
I know you're trying to make a point but please don't mass-reply, it really stinks up the thread.
>>8628854
No, it was more I was expecting the book to centralize on Hitlers feelings towards one book or another. Especially with the blurb talking about how some of his favorite books were 'treasure island' and 'Don Quixote'. Hence the amazon review in 'expected'.
