It's my favorite story. Where was I supposed to vote for it?
The annual poll doesn't seem like the right place for short stories.

The collection of the same name was in last year's poll. I hope it's included also this year.
El Aleph is probably my favorite short story from him, alongside The Garden Of Branching Paths.

Explain. I've never read Pynchon

No, I meant that nobody in the story voted for his story to get the Argentinian Nobel Prize, most of them voted for basement guy's poem.

The first time I read 'The Aleph' I didn't understand much; to be honest, I forgot the whole thing now, and it hasn't even been two weeks since.
Would I benefit from a second go-around?

The collection in last year's top 100 is Ficciones, senpai. Also, El Aleph is better in my opinion.

El Aleph and Ficciones are both on the list. The former being on number 82.
For me, i like Ficciones a lot better
