Fast
when reading a book that needs concentration, not that fast.
I can't imagine an existence of someone who feels the need to speed-read artistic works.

Most books ~30 pages an hour
More difficult prose like IJ ~12/hour
But I have extremely good, long term recall for whatever I read
I read about 30 pages today, idk how long it took. It took me about 5 hours back when I was reading 1984 to read 100 pages, when I would read 100 pages a day.

In all seriousness, I peak at roughly 700wpm for shallow material, like YA fiction or verbose but simplistic styles. I can read a ~400 page book in 4-5 hours.
Harder reading is obviously much, much slower.
