what are the best books about goats?
Where were you when you realised Mary was better than Lolita?
>>8610285
The portrait of the Artist as a Young Man
Can someone who has read his Russian stuff tell me how hard to read it is compared to Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy?
>>8610381
You mean in Russian? I've read all of his work but translated, and he's generally a lot easier to comprehend than Tolstoy.
>>8610287
That's possibly his weakest work.
>>8610925
Weakest? Don't be absurd.
The Tragedy of Mister Morn (etc) are leagues below Mary.
And Nabokov is clearly one of the greatest of all time, does anyone seriously disagree with this?
>>8610248
Here's an underrated Goat. Prove me wrong
>>8610248
How good are his short stories?
I want to read him but i don't want to strt with a novel.
Any recommended collection?
>>8611037
His short stories are great, read signs and symbols
>>8611037
His novels are pretty short, just pick up one of his easier work like The Defense or Pnin. They are comfy asf too.
