I'm writing a fairly long essay about the beginner's guide, but there are certain parts of it I want to examine and feel too uninformed to write about. If you guys know any books about the following stuff and could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.
The importance of opening camera angles in film
The liminal space between sculpture and architecture
Color Theory (probably the wrong name for this, I meant specifically the symbolic use of colors in paintings and other media)
Some thing on textures of paintings
Or studies of nonlinear poetry/ ekphrastic paintings of poems.
Works of literature similar to Joyce writing about Stephen writing the Villenelle
I know its a lot to ask, but I though there might be some books you know of in one of the fields.

It's a videogame that has a very particular aesthetic, and obvious influences from modernism and pomo.
How to read literature like a professor: should give you the tools to derive color theory
Architecture: Jameson's "Postmodernism: or the cultural logic of late capitalism"

Thanks, I appreciated the recs

And why the fuck did you assume that we should know that? There's no time for videogames.

Given the ending reveal, you should read The Death of the Author by Barthes if you haven't already. Otherwise most of the book recommendations you're asking about /lit/ probably won't be able to help you with, since they aren't literature. Try the photograph/painting/visual creativity boards.
The game is the creator just jacking off, if you enjoyed this tumblr is a much more suitable place for you.

How so? You know the narration isn't the only part of the work right?

I'll def check it out, and look into theotherr board tentatively, I just (perhaps wrongly) thought lit might be the best place to look.
