Jada is a nigger.

Jaden is nigger faggot.
Like 'Itallian American', but 'Nigger Faggot'.
/his/ is shit for discussing philosophy.
While there's nothing wrong with discussing classics, talking about which versions of books one prefers etc., I also do find myself missing some discussion on contemporary literature.
A lot of people on here may be prejudiced against it, but surely there's a decent amount of good (good - not fantastic) literature being put on the shelves. That YA, crime and the like end up appearing as though they were the only genres currently published likely has to do with the lack of enthusiasm people show towards books which fail to match said categories, outside of classics.
If nobody's willing to buy anything but classics, crime, YA, pop-sci and silly biographies, you can't exactly blame bookstores for not carrying a lot of copies of interesting literature.
Want to change things? Start reading contemporary literature, and discuss it on boards like this, as to share it with people so that it may gain more relevance.
