Just finished the last Discworld book and I'd like to know if anyone here has come across a series or a book with the same kind of vibe - "sensible chuckle" humour in a fantasy setting.

Robert Rankin and Tom Holt are sort of similar iirc
Fritz Lieber's stories of Fahfrd and the Grey Mouser aren't quite as obviously comedic as Pratchett's work, but he doesn't take the heroic fantasy genre very seriously; he was having a poke at people like Robert E Howard.
Thanks for the suggestions!
The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss. There are sensible chuckles but also a lot more drama and serious themes. And the main character, Kvothe, is a total badass. I don't know where I'd be in life without these books.
Gormenghast trilogy has a kind of a similar tone, but less humorous.

Sort of but also not. Rankin pisses me off. He tries too hard to be edgy and random.
If you haven't read Hitchhiker's Guide then do that, it's about the only thing with the same pleasantly inoffensive sense of humour.
Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Hunger Games

Don Quixote.
The Dean goes on an adventure in Roundworld, accompanied by a combination of Sergeant Colon and Rincewind. Technically chivalric comedy, but this is pretty much the same as fantasy.
