Reclam Universal-Bibliothek has a collection of his poems for around 7 Euros. Is that publisher shit? It looks like German Wordsworth Classics, but I may be wrong.

Also you might wanna check out Heinrich Heine, he can be really funny and I think he's fairly easy to read.

Reclam is good, I would advise against their Goethe collection though. Personally I don't think it's a very great selection, but it's by Stefan Zweig if that means anything to you.
