Well lads? Anyone read it?

reading is for fags

Isn't satanism just a meme religion that atheists use to manipulate freedom of religion laws?

Pretty much. Just Humanism dressed in religious flavor (which is contradictory to humanism but whatever).
It's a bad mixture of Stirner, Nietzsche, Rand and Redbeard with edgy window dressing dumbed down for hippies.
Look into Michael Aquino.
I read it when I was like 18. I liked it then and the idea of psychic vampires has stuck with me so for bettor or worse I do not compromise often. I feel as though the whole ritual section ruined it.
Common sense approach to living with rational insight about self-sufficiency and independence
It's mostly plagiarised and shallow.

I can tell you haven't read it.

-The Satanic Scriptures- by Peter Gilmore
-Lords of the Left Hand Path- by Stephen Flowers

Yeah, pretty much this.
I read it when I was around the same age in a Catholic high school. I was already an atheist, and when they instituted mandatory reading time I brought this in cause I was so fucking cool.
Anyways, it's just regurgitated Nietzche, and that's fine. As an edgy atheist teenager I loved it, and I do consider it to be important in my own intellectual development, but through the lens of age... well, I have no desire to pick it back up.
Also, as mentioned in the above post, the second half is a bunch of rituals that really shouldn't be there. The first half of the book works because he's criticizing aspects of religion that even many atheists don't, but then all of a sudden he starts babbling about all kinds of magic and shit. Either it was an elaborate joke (it's not funny) or he really believed it (which I have trouble believing).
