Franny and Zooey was pretty great, I think Dostoevsky and Kafka hit very similar themes and motifs but their characters are generally older. Hermann Hesse's Demian, Steppenwolf and Siddhartha for young people that try to find themselves, have a distaste for society and reach some kind of individualism. French symbolism for the original expression of adolescent rush.Goethe's Werther. Just don't necessarily start with meme-existentialism like >>8499444 said, Camus and Sartre are cool but get really overrated by people who think nihilism was some crazy new expression in the early 20th century.
Also, while people will roll their eyes on here, Oyasumi Punpun is manga but does a pretty great job at subverting every trope you find in a more traditional Bildungsroman. It isn't literature but definitely a work of art.
