Pretty cool. I guess the gist of it is not one tradition has a monopoly on the universal but the essential is that your tradition is a tradition with a hierarchy.

Although it's baffling why Guenon, a Catholic, seems to have completely ignored Eastern Orthodoxy, which put tradition at the center of their religion, and opted for Sunni Islam instead.

He was probably right about Islam (at least in his time) upholding it's traditions in the face of modernity better than Catholicism. Who knows if he'd feel that way today.

I've read every single one of his books. You should read Reign of Quanity, Introduction to the study of the hindu doctrine, man and his becoming in the vedanta and multiple states of the being. The ones that are collections of articles arent as good.
