Never read it as a teenager but read it last year to see how it influenced LOST and I enjoyed it a lot, you could spin it was a book about British colonialism or the empire something like that but wasn't really that much of large theme.

Not everything is a contest to see whos the smartest. The book isnt childrens literature and just because you have a bad superiority complex doesnt mean we wont discuss this book.
