Depends. I love DFW as much as the next guy, but only read halfway through. The early parts on the history of infinity were pretty interesting, but when it gets into modern mathematics you need to be into that scene to really get it.

DFW was a pseud who only half understood the mathematical concepts he was playing with. Real mathematicians hated this book.

Skip it and read some popular science written by people with qualifications.
