here, let me start with this excellent open yale course on don quixote
http://oyc.yale.edu/spanish-and-portuguese/span-300
the quijote gets a lot of love here on /lit/, so I'm sure more than on person will be interested in following this course, more-so recommended for non-spanish speakers
it also has some interesting historical lessons which really helped me contextualize the work

Here's a link to an interpretation of the end of Infinite Jest written by Aaron Swartz - yes, that same Aaron Swartz who was indicted for illegally downloading thousands of articles from JSTOR, and who an heroed in the face of conviction. I've alwyas found the convergence of these two minor historical figures, Swartz and DFW, to be quite poetic.

Don't read this if you haven't finished IJ.

One of the few self-help related anything I've found useful. More insightful than anything like How to Win Friends and Influence People and I've had positive results in my own life from using his advice.
