I read it and cannot say that I liked it. The prose is in an incredibly flat affect, almost as though it is on purpose, and apparently she worked hand in hand with her translator. The characters are caricatures of traditional Asians with a good deal of ryu murakami thrown in. The male characters are done particularly poorly.

It does have some stunning imagery and it is short, but all in all, I would pass.
