The Secret History by Donna Tartt.
Typical autumn novel.
I love Dostoevsky in the autumn for some reason. Probably because I read him for the first time in the autumn, Crime and Punishment. Comfy memory.
Autumn is a good time for War and Peace I've found, or for some of Nabokov's work. Lolita is a summer book, but something like The Defense can be fairly comfy.
Moominvalley in November.
