Thing is, I started reading this book ages ago, - I forget the title, about a man who got reincarnated deformed for being a dick in a previous life, and he gets sexually molested as a kid and beaten savagely as an adult man by teenage girl gangs, and works a shitty private eye job.
And I never got to the end because it just wasn't interesting to read.

Agreed OP, it should be standard that books come with triggers warnings on the front page.
How do we push for this, friends?
If you read books before 1950s you won't come upon sex scenes that often or at all.
It's quite rare in all my readings this year the only place i've found them were the Decameron and very loosely described in stendhal and musil where they were simply alluded to.
