You should know that OP's pic related is a reprint of Ligotti's two earliest collections, >>8467878 is better.

IMHO just get pic related and you're set when it comes to weird fiction, don't get scared off by the potato cover and them deciding to put the weakest writers of the collection onto the cover. Especially Jean Ray and Bruno Schulz make the collection worth it.
