present one good argument against materialism/physicalism u cant
>>8453577
Material is only as useful as the people who believe it to be, so therefore the belief itself overrides the importance of material. One cannot have one or the other in humanity.

>Material is only as useful as the people who believe it to be
jfc your retarded
>>8453577
explain how does life work in materialism?
btfod
Material is an ideal construct.
It follows logically that for the universe to come into being it would need to have an ultimate source/creator outside of itsself, to reject the idea of an ultimate source of being is to reject logic and thus to reject any meaningful way of having this argument, and then we fall into absurdism.
;)
i'll do it, if you explain math from a materialist point of view first
>>8453577
physicality is the coarsest dimension of a multi-dimensional reality
>>8453695
dimensions don't exist
>>8453577
nah
>>8453665
[this is only apologetics and not real logic btw]
>>8453696
dimensions exist (but are better labeled thresholds)
>>8453706
thresholds are rectangles of wood, they have nothing to do with anything implied by the word dimension
>>8453699
Sure thing pal, it's turtles all the way down ;)
>>8453709
i know you're just being obtuse but
>literalists utilizing but one area of their brains
>>8453720
i'm not a literalist, i just don't believe in dimensions because they are a lazy story-telling device
