In his essay What is Metaphysics, Heidegger astutely challenges the presupposition of something as logically antecedent of nothing. I wonder if the "nothing" he has in mind is the primordial chaos of Greek mythology. (yadda, yadda, yadda, chaos in your heart, give birth to a dancing star). He very cunningly proves the importance of metaphysics indirectly in so doing. Very slick, Martin.
