Are you fucking dumb or something?
I read some of it and found it interesting until near the end, where I stopped reading it for some reason.
I found the beginning a bit dull, but it picks up as it goes on.

Patriarchal and colonial, in spite of its "critique" of neocolonialism. Also very Orientalist, especially in relation to Buddhism and a deification of Gandhi. And add to that a conflation of poverty with lack of entrepreneurship and intelligence. Not into it.

the only economics book worth reading is Das Kapital
I enjoyed the middle but found the beginning and end quite dull

Is that a some kind of meme or something?
NOPE.
Lots of large claims, many of them wrong, without any attempt to justify them. Deeply conservative and elitists framework in many places. Makes me wonder how did this book become such an icon in some "progressive" circles.
