Agapē Agape is where all the bile he's built up over his lifetime spills out, though you can't really appreciate it until you read the rest and know at least a little about what his life was like.

I'm about 100 pages into Journey to the End of the Night. He's pretty funny sometimes how much he hates everything and everybody. But I guess being in the ww1 trenches wil do that to a guy.
