this one trolls me no end because kant's autistic enough to say shit like "marriage is a contract for the mutual use of genitalia"
if anything, marital rape is kantian.
>>8396835
I hate this
>>8395687
Well-written + witty
/r/ing totally ripped greeks post
/r/ing the post with the romantic authors, the first was (I think) coleridge saying "muh bad dreams"
>>8396883
Is the bird drawing a reference to something? I don't get it.

I was the shadow of the waxwing slain
By the false azure in the windowpane

>>8395682
I changed my folder name to frog and feels thanks to this post.
>>8397323
I have 10k unsorted 4chan pictures, know my pain.
>>8397390
Do you also have a weird part of your brain dedicated to navigating that folder, where you seem to memorise little bits of visual queues so that when you;'re scrolling through at 500mph you can kind of "feel" that youi're close to the picture you want
>>8397406
I do, actually. I can also recognize the lurking/posting phases and habits I went through, the moods, the interests. I keep a USB stick dedicated solely to a "4chan" folder, too.
>>8397323
That's funny, mine is called "Feels & Frogs", but I never made the connection to that famous post.
>>8397390
Thanks for reminding me to start sorting my fucking 2GB of cool 4chen mememes.
>>8395684
is this one someone roleplaying as a modern Ignatius? Or am I just projecting more onto it?

I will never get over it as long as I live.
Not sure if this one is from /lit/

I love this post. I doubt /lit/ will ever produce something this great again

>>8397904
wow, it would be better if you just posted that you were retarded, people would at least have some respect for you
>>8397715
>>8397713
there are obviously exceptions, but being in my 4th year of a bachelors degree in applied mathematics and working in a biophysics laboratory myself, i can say that there's some truth to that.
but i think you can sum it up better by saying most STEMfags are just sadder and overworked versions of "normies." they generally lack an appreciation for creative intellectualism just like your 27-year-old customer service girl or 24-year-old male warehouse worker but have the esteem of a higher paycheck and a college degree (that, really does require a lot of work) to socially justify their ultimately sad and dogmatic way of thinking
but then again, all the best scientists and mathematicians are totally not like that. i've had a chance to meet a lot

>>8395662
I could google it, and I might even find a good answer by doing so. But /lit/ produces better answers, goes more in depth, dishes out multiple suggestions of interesting books, and sometimes tops it off with a meme. Fuck google, /lit/ is life.

>What the fuck, what recourse would they even have then?
It can be forgiven if you can show that it will cause undue hardship but it's almost impossible in practice. People who paid a lot of money to acquire useless degrees are royally fucked desu.

I looked it up and apparently people who graduate with government loans will refinance it with a private bank, and that the bank sells these loans to investors. It's not fair though, because encouraging students with loans is supposed to create an educated workforce, and that's not what we're getting. There are some really stupid degrees out there, I would never have got a BA if I had to go into debt. I only used it to get into a practical (and lucrative) postgraduate diploma program anyway.
>>8397654
I want to read more of this anons posts

/r/ing that story about the homeless man who reads all of the eastern philosophy, saying "This is it! This is it!" then kills himself with a pair of scissors or whatever.

I'm terrified of my hard drive dying. It would be like losing a piece of myself, I've been saving images for 9 years. I want to be able to look back at pictures of spurdo when I'm 90 years old and reminisence.

"Dying forever" is an ancient motif. Do you guys think that this is what happens to STEMlords? It is natural to assume that some are simply quantitatively and/or quantitatively not conscious enough to understand their own condition, never mind to transcend it. Even interpretations of the world where the human spirit is rather cut and dry and things are binary - like the major Christian denominations - allow room for error in any and all processes involving such dim entities.
Like what happens when Dawkins dies? An infinite scroll of paper being torn in half as its unraveling forever?
