More than anything, I was surprised by how funny this could be (and at some of weirdest times, too). "Swann in Love" is like an extended George Costanza scene, complete with all his hangups and fears and with his weird ability to be perfectly fine in the end.

I don't get it.

The second and third books dealt largely with sexual relations between Nicole de jardins, a black Frenchwoman who was the only adult human female in the Rama capsules for much of those books, and the other humans aboard. She banged all of them then they were trying to figure out the best way to incestually breed her kids with the other members in order to best propagate the human race while in deep space. Spent way too much time on that subject

did you find this book difficult to read? I havent read it yet as I read moderatley, but my Dad is a huge book worm and he said it was the most intense book he ever read, as in, he struggled to read it.
the only books he said was harder than this were "Mason & Dixon", or maybe "The Canterbury Tales" (both of which he couldnt get through)
