i am perfectly comfortable believing in a deity that can but does not prevent evil. or one that cannot now but used to. or one that itself has no conception of evil, or acts based on entirely different motives. Eris, etc.

there have been a lot of gods through out history that have been nove of those things, and there still are.
Sick of this perspective. It's death and misery to you, to god it's just taking the lives he owns back. Torture is different depending on the religion but you get the point. The human perspective isn't similar to god's.
Not a complete believer in any god or religion here, just pointing this out.
