Orthodox stoicism =/= determinism. They are probably closest to compatibilism.

Is Seneca a good introduction to stoicism? I think there is a book by him in my closest library. If not, then who? Thank you btw

Epictetus was the mosed based stoic. He also talks a bit about determinism; his beliefs are quite similar to kant in that there is universal determinism but the human mind still has free will, which I guess is compatiblism.
His discourses are better than Seneca, IMO
