Does /lit/ take kindly to screenwriting?

Say what you will about his actual films, but Rick Alverson's scripts are absolutely GOAT. The script to Entertainment might be more gut wrenching than the actual film.

Preferred The Comedy

The Comedy was definitely a superior piece, but I just can't describe how perfectly "Entertainment" captured the essence of depression. It was the most honest, brutal work I've ever read. For that I'll always prefer it, even if I can accept that The Comedy was the greater of the two works.

They're good, I guess.

Where did you read the script? I love the movie but I don't know where to get screenplays online

A friend of mine actually. I have no idea how he got it, but it was a printed copy.
I'm sure there's somewhere to get it online. I'll look it up in a minute.

I can't stand depressed people, so entertainment looks like it's gonna be start-to-finish garbage for me. Too bad, I find Neil funny.

It definitely isn't a sensitive film, so I don't think you'll hate it. I mean the main character is always treated like shit, so you might find it cathartic.
Trying to find The Comedy script is a pain with such a bland title
