which book is the hardest to read of the 3?
>>8368549
none you fucking idiots. read a real author like hawkes, gaddis or beckett. fucking morons.
Dhalgren isn't really that hard...its just weird
Gravity's Rainbow is pretty difficult, but obviously Ulysses iscleary a notch or two above GR in the challenging department

Easily Ulysses

>Ulysses iscleary a notch or two above GR in the challenging department
I don't think so.

I love Hawkes and Gaddis but I've never read anything by Beckett. Where should I start with him?
The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters
until you get through that stop posting this meme shit
>>8368648
yeah I don't think so either
Ulysses is harder on a prose level, but Gravity's Rainbow is more thematically complex and narratively tangled

for someone who espouses some kind of intellectual superiority based on your literary taste, you post like a dumb sack of shit.

Is GR harder than Dhalgren?

>No Bely's Petersburg
Surely, you're jesting, right?
>>8368549
Finnegans Wake slays all three.

Ulysses is much, much more stylistically difficult. It had so many more "okay what the fuck is he talking about now" moments than GR, maybe that's just because I tend to write off confusing/unreal scenes and events as dream sequences or Pynchon gettin surreal on us.
Never read Dhalgren so I couldn't say.
