Hard mode would be no Tutis Digital editions
Anything by Routledge.
Most self-help/ DIY self-defence books
Fuck hard mode, these are too bad not to share.

The old Soviet era covers are also an acquired taste.

>Bad

>>8363985
I'd be happy to have a Lem Soviet edition

>Broussard
Ah, the dreaded French ninja

Well really they aren't Soviet, those are Bulgarian editions.
But everyone from this part of the world knows thats just a technicality.
I only have a few with me, most are in my parents house. Some can get really crazy.
I don't know if you've seen the image macro about video game covers, where its something cute on the japanese cover, something badass on the american, and some obscure modern art 2deep4u stuff on the european. Well old commie era books were mostly the european cover type, at least fiction and sci-fi.

I actually really like all of these
>>8363967
those aren't nearly the worst wordsworths

Not OP but I thought the hardmode was a good idea just to change things up, even though wordsworth threads used to make me laugh out loud when I was new to /lit/. They are really the best worst covers
especially the collected Kafka wordsworth. It's my favorite.
what makes a bad cover?
