Is stream of consciousness supposed to be this mundane and boring? I was shocked by how boring and humorless the first 100 pages of this book was. I guess when everyone sucks your dick so hard for your last book, this is what happens. It really needed an editor with a spine to tell him when he's repeating himself or running down some irrelevant details.

Just got this the other day. I loved Catch 22 when I was 17 and it really got me into absurd-ism. I hear this work is even better than Catch, is that true?
