Had any fiction published recently, Anons?

Hahahaha no. Unless you count self published, which I don't.
>>8345646
No but I got some research published which was fun
I did. Ask me anything.
>>8346180
Where?
>>8346175
what was your research on, anon?
>>8346096
Heh, self-publishing is like the literary equivalent of public masturbation.
>>8346180
Do you mind potentially sacrificing your anonymity and opening yourself up to some good ol' fashioned 4chan criticism and derision by posting a link?
We'd love you and insult you out of jealousy for it ;)

That's not true. People pay attention to public masturbators. Self-published authors are typically ignored. Tweets are a better comparison because people actually read those.

Quite right, twas def a slipshod analogy. But I don't think Tweeeter works either because it literally is self-publishing. How about: self-publishing is like religious iconography? Laboriously crafted yet presumably left unappreciated except by friends and relatives: inevitably and unfortunately frivolous as making a mixtape for your deaf girlfriend.
Hope these work for you, boo—if not, it's coo'

Just some novel syntheses. I'm happy with the quality of the writing but it's not what I'd Love to be writing. I communicated myself clearly.

Yup. A short story, in what is probably the most prestigious lit. magazine in my language area.
