He really didn't though, he just ripped his attack on Feuerbach from Stirner. Marx was a big fan of Feuerbach and Proudhon before he encountered Stirner and was forced to distance himself from that sort of naive humanism. Don't confuse gigantic rhetorical polemics that go nowhere, like his "Herr Vogt" meltdown, for something of actual substance. Marx had a habit of ripping off ideas then not giving any credit for them which was fairly common in those days.
