I've been having problems with writer's block for a few months now. I was able to piss out a few words and form a shitty poem a week or so ago, but that's not enough. I'd like to get into short stories, screenplay, and eventually get into novel writing. What're some effective ways to get over this shit?

Hard to help you. I have too many ideas to begin with. Try Adderall or marijuana. Adderall makes you write a lot, not good, but a lot. And marijuana wraps your intuition around your head, so you're surrounded by random sporadic self induced influences.

Drugs will not save you. It's a meme. I've tried it all. None of them helped. And I did try in excess.
Anyway,
write even if you don't feel like it, as often as is bearable to you. Even if it's silly garbage. You'll get into a routine and naturally things will spark, domino effect, etc. Good luck. Just need to gather some discipline and routine.
