Did anyone else thought this novel to be appalling and found it to be unbearably boring at most of the time? Talk about overrated.
>overrated.
You failed before you started reading it, dude.
Is it just me or is it really hard to find a copy with that cover these days, even though it's the most famous

Perhaps overrated is the wrong word, just disappointing. It's talked about frequently, and after reading it I felt very disappointed. Not overrated, I just overhyped it. Though even if I didn't, I probably still wouldn't have enjoyed it.

So basically you couldn't understand one of the most simple stories ever told?

I don't think anon means that they didn't understand it. You can understand a text yet not enjoy it or understand why it's held to a high standard. And, even then, you may understand why a text is held in high standard, but then not particularly care for it yourself, or feel that other texts hold better value.
>implying thr prose and symbolism isn't 10/10
teenagers whonread this for school should pay more attention
I thought it was decent, definitely not worthy of the level of praise it gets but enjoyable nonetheless.
top tier ending line too

This reply makes no sense. Someone can understand something and not like it.
No. I really liked it.
