Why the hell do hardcover books have to cost like 20 dollars and usually like 50 dollars because they're always out of print and people like to scalp people from their money? I mean, you see good quality pressings of books for like 12 dollars in hardcover, and that's not a bad deal, that's only a couple bucks more than most paperback books cost. So how come they're so scarce? How come I always have to resort to buying paperback because there's no reasonably priced hardcover books?
They are expensive because they are made in smaller batches because people don't buy hardcover books because paperbacks are cheaper
