Virtual Reality has been foregrounded by television and film so much that I don't think I've ever come accross a story that focuses on Augmented Reality for its plot - any shorts or novels you can rec?
I wrote a story about how you live in a fag-minted reality
>Everywhere he looked, he saw dicks. Innumerable lines of force converged to reveal a never-ending cavalcade of always more dicks. He had to suck all those dicks.
Sci-fi has had augmented reality since at least the 90s.
What do you mean "for its plot" - you mean more than just characters interacting in spaces that are a mix of reality and computer worlds overlaid and interweaving?
You want a story about an AR software engineer or something?

The only funny part of this is that it's a very /lit/ way to say "OP is a faggot".

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me, but I'm just not aware of any, that's why I'm asking.
>more than just characters interacting in spaces that are a mix of reality and computer worlds overlaid and interweaving
That'd be good, but if the setting is significant or prominent enough, then whatever.
I haven't read scifi since I was a kid, but try Halting State.
