Better than Norwegian Wood, but not much.
Lots of Greek Island scenes and a bit of Lesbianism, if I remember correctly.
Go for the Sheepman books, Wonderland, Kafka of Wind-up Bird.
And Pinball 1973 is actually fun, though Murakami seems to think otherwise.
