Anyone else see cliches in their poetry? It might be original

I think in both my prose and my poetry I tend to be overly compact; hardly taking the time to build an image.

I always compare manmade objects and nature. Or girls to fire/light its bad.

Are there any good ways to get out of writing habits?

Clichés aren't bad, though, and trying to avoid them is a cliché in itself.

I always write about mirrors, or things being mirrors even when they arent reflective in nature.

Also, things show up in 3's alot.

I always write opposing ideas; in which I'm feeling joy by being overwhelmed. Besides the fact that I usually write about myself. I should die.
