been reading some Trungpa Rinpoche lately after attending some meditation sessions at a shambala meditation center.

What do you all think about the continuity of consciousness and the nature of human identity considering the past and future are just functional markers utilized by our minds?

I believe the continuity of consciousness is a pretty big topic within western philosphical circles.

Buddhism has some pretty accurate assements about life imo

I've noticed while tripping on acid that I can relate to Buddhist ideas easier, but they amount to the same things written by Western philosophers. Specifically Nietzche's idea of eternal recurrence.
