Has anyone actually read a whole book of a computer screen before?
Novellas and plays, mostly. And when there's a free pdf on google and I don't feel like buying it or going to the library. You get used to it, especially if the laptop is light and easily portable

Oh and school textbooks, of course

I read By His Bootstraps last year. It held my interest but it was only about 40-something pages anyhow.

Well yeah, I have plenty of PDFs to read from. Sometimes I read on my smartphone when I'm on the bus on the way to university, sometimes standing if there's no seats free.
I read everyday from morning to evening on my ps screen and have been doing it for the last almost three years.
I was unthnkable before, but one gets used to. Now it goes as smooth as a real book.
