I've never read their Julius Caesar, but the way Signet constructs their annotations is nice. Plus, they usually include possible source texts Shakespeare drew from.

Intros are kinda trash though, all pretty generic information about the Bard in general and not the text at hand.

yo, you either need notes or you don't, and if you need notes you can find them anywhere online

I rather like Signet, their annotations are rather concise, and well organized. I don't own a signet of Caesar, but I do own theirs on a handful of other shakespeare works from them.

In the end it don't matter though, there's much analysis you can read up on online now a days
