I read (and enjoyed desu) these books when I was 8-9. I can't believe that's YA; I thought they were kids books.
My honest advice: start with the Greeks senpai.
Only if you're following since you were a child. I finished Series of Unfortunate Events as a late teenager. Do not follow a new YA series if you are >13 years old.
