How to force myself to read, and enjoy books. I lost all will to do anything, including reading books. Maybe some existentialist literature?
>>
Why force yourself to do anything.

Do what you enjoy.

Watch Alex Jones youtube videos and read his articles at prisonplanet,

Well the point is, I don't really enjoy anything. I just "do" things, and stay on my laptop rest of the day after I came back home from work.

Congratulations on being the most spooked person on /lit/

On a serious note though
What books have you enjoyed in the past?
Are you currently depressed or under great stress?
And if yes to the above do you seriously think you can read your way to happiness?
>>

Don't really have a favourite genre. I just read books, and either I enjoyed them or not.

And, yes I think I might have depression, been thinking about seeing a doctor for a quite long time, social anxiety as well.

I'm not sure. But I think that reading could help me cope with my feelings, not exactly improve them.

Unless its selfhelp books on CBT chances are that seeing a doctor or shrink would be a prerequisite to enjoying reading again in your case.

Make sure the book you are buying is overpriced and expensive so you feel a need to get your money's worth out of the text.
